Civil Society Focal Point for Children

The Association for Protection and Promotion of Mental Health of Children and Youth of Niš has been implementing projects in the past eight years which are directly linked to children and young people. During that period, more than 5000 children and young people from diverse cultural, ethnical and social environments, primarily from marginalized groups - broken families, refugees and internally displaced persons, children with developmental problems, poor children, etc. – gained education and

Furthermore, the Center develops partnerships with many non-governmental organizations, it is a partner of the youth network association of organizations from EU countries, and it is a local partner of the Pestalozzi children organization and implements a section of the networking project together with other organizations from 18 towns in Serbia. As the unit for project monitoring within the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Center worked on capacity building of the involved organizations. As the executive partner of UNHCR, the Center implements educational and recreational programs for refugees, internally displaced persons and Roma children in Serbia and works on capacity building of partnership organizations.
